hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. this is me, right now, in my night robe, showing off my building pass. haha
alright…i’ve been meaning to post here for awhile….lets seee. what is going on with my lifeeeeeee-work. last week was my first week. i was soooooooooo exhausted. woke up around 6am, got there at 8am, work straight thru lunch (thats the culture there), get home around 6pm and poop out on the couch. sleep at 10:30. repeat. so tiring…butbutbut i like it there. the desks are all lined up, no cubicles, everyone’s really friendly, and they gave me lots of things to do. im getting more use to the change in living…but i thought i could do way more things after work. im way too tired to move around, much less drive to someone’s house. hopefully that changes. lol
hmm what else. im sad i missed chap camp. it sounded great. oh ive been reading alot cuz the bart ride is pretty long. but coming back on bart is terrible cuz its all cramp and i have to stand.
the weekends have been mainly mini family day trips. we try to go to as many parks as possible so my mom can walk around in fresh air. so on saturday we went to napa and monday we went to point pinole. my sister came home so i think my parents really liked being together. even if its just walking around.
alright…thats good for now from my end! lets hear from others who may have not posted yet this summer!!

p.p.s. im eating lunch with fj on friday. he picked some fancy place that seem only okay for couples……sigh haha

this is what i look like when i wake up at 1:30
but because i’m freaking tired….probably my fault. i worked 9-5 the past two days. yikes men the working world ain’t super easy! but fun - going to different sites and measuring, trudging around, drawing up base plans. i’m just not used to it.
although the weather has been pretty miserable up to today in berkeley, it definitely feels like summer. been hanging out a lot with sarah and ark people…went to a sushi buffet last night in hayward and it was delectable.
the writing here is not very poignant, i’m just vomiting what i’ve been doing.
i had dinner with nate on monday and i thought it was just going to be a fun catchup dinner but when he was saying grace he was like “just be with us as we wrap things up”…i was so caught off guard! i just forgot that, man, people are graduating! people are leaving! i guess the 3 seniors i feel closest to - nate, hubert, audrey - are all going to be here next year so i’m cheating the system a bit, but it’s hard to say goodbye. anyway, i was talking to nate and i ended up telling him he was the first person i ever looked up to. but in that, he taught me how to look up to people i knew before him but never looked up to. dunno if that made sense…but i realize it’s true. ahhhh i was such a different person when i was a first year.
anyway, i haven’t even been on summer break for a full week but i’m quite quite excited for what it holds. last summer i was looking to spend a lot of time “finding myself” or whatever….and entertaining my P-ness by being spontaneous and unplanned and somewhat irresponsible. but this summer…man. ADVENTURE! memorable happenings.
let’s make a pact that we’re gonna churn out a lot of memories in between now and spring 2012, yeah?

Being at home in Santa Clara is great but it is also a reminder of how lucky I am to have such great roommates like you guys.

this is me. right after my wisdom teeth were extracted. yes, i look miserable; cuz i am. yes, those are blood stains on my mouth/teeth. nay ho ma girl.
Sorry I’ve been MIA for so long, didn’t have access to internet in China even at the hotel surprisingly. I’m now in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan w/my parents :)
China trip was quite an experience, 6 performances in the first 3 days, 20 degree weather, snow, various tours to The Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Emperor’s Tomb and constantly eating at really nice restaurants, all sponsored by various Chinese choirs (I ended up leaving China w/more money than when I arrived b/c of gifts / red envelopes). The trip also included a visit to the hospital due to food poisoning which caused me to throw up 5-6 times and spend the night on an IV drip… but nevertheless, it was an incredible experience that I’m super grateful for. Glad to be w/family in Taiwan now and better weather… Here’s one of my favorite videos from China, it’s the one I’m gonna use for that winter break project but yea more updates later. Loved reading all your guys’ posts! Greg, I will def be prayin for you and I can relate in terms of not really knowing what lies ahead in the future / lacking direction (but I’m also sure all 4 of us will be fine in whatever we do). Daniel, that guitar gift seems awesome, no worries, none of us will be judging you! Love you all, hope your breaks are going swell, I will try to update more while I’m in Taiwan!! :)
